Golf and riding locally. Shops 1 mile, pub serving food 0.75 miles.

One bedroom. Entrance from external staircase. Stunning open plan, beamed sitting/dining room with wooden floor and Scandinavian wood burning stove, well equipped kitchen area. Bathroom/WC with separate shower cubicle. Spiral staircase to gallery: Attractive double bedroom with 6' bed.

We stayed at the Little Burcott Loft for three days and cannot fault the place. Everything was perfect and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Little Burcott loft is an amazing place to stay, very peaceful and quiet and the surroundings and view from the balcony are lovely! We would definitely go back again next time we are in Somerset. Great location just a few minutes drive to Wells which is a lovely little town would recommend going on Wednesdays when the market is on, also about 45 minute drive from Longleat which was worth the visit and about 5 minutes from Wookey Hole. Overall we had one of our best Uk holiday so far staying at Little Burcott and the people we met there were really nice and friendly. If you are thinking about booking up I would just do it as you will have a fanastic holiday!

With its lovely beaches beautiful countryside and fascinating history, dating back to the times of the Ancient Britons, Somerset makes a wonderful cottage holiday destination. And the best way to experience the county’s many attractions is from your base in one of our holiday cottages in Somerset. Bath has some of Britain’s most majestic Georgian architecture, as well as the famous Roman Baths (not mention great shopping). Then there’s Wells, England’s smallest city. Wandering around the cathedral close, with its unspoilt medieval lanes is like taking a step back in time. And for a real sense of mystery, there’s Glastonbury (home of the world-famous music festival), supposedly the site of King Arthur’s mythical Avalon. All await you on one of our Somerset cottage holidays. The county has more than its fair share of beach resorts too. The Grand Pier at Weston-Super-Mare is superb, as is the wide beach here, while Minehead and Burnham-on-Sea offer a choice of traditional seaside pleasures. Meanwhile, for nature lovers there’s the wild landscape of Exmoor, and the Mendip and Quantock Hills, both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Cheddar Gorge is truly stunning. Great for real Cheddar cheese too!
